Raiding App for the Monkey - Posted: 02-01-2010
Main's name: Druidmonkey
Class/Level: 80 Druid
Spec: Feral Tank / Boomkin
Link your armory: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...cn=Druidmonkey

Professions: Inscription(every recipe in the game) / Enchanting
Are your chosen professions maxed? If not, why?
What level is your First Aid? 450

Past raiding experience: Everything but sunwell on my mage at 70. I have downed Rotface and everything prior in ICC 10. Toc10 and I get in pugs whenever I can for 25s. I think I've only ever been with groups to down 1 boss in togc10.
We raid Tues/Weds/Thurs/Sun from 7:45-11pm server. Can you attend these times?: Wednesday I can't get on until about 8:15 for the next couple of months. All other days are good.

As a raider what are the strengths you can bring the group? I have been playing for quite a while and I know fire is bad. I'm good filling most roles and adapt well to different strategies. I also have the patience for progression raiding which I understand can be entire nights of wiping. Having been in a progression raiding guild at 70 helped me have the experience necessary.

To contrast that, what are your weaknesses? Like anyone, I do make mistakes. I sometimes don't get to spend enough time as one spec or class to really get in a groove.

What do you consider adequate preparation for raiding? Have all your gear gemmed and enchanted. Bring enough flasks to last the entire raid, food buffs, and potions. Watch videos and read strats for unknown fights so it doesn't have to be explained to me.

What are some of your favorite sites to seek out information about your character and spec? Elitistjerks, be.imba, wow-heroes, wowarmory and as a druid of course I always have the latest version of rawr.

Do you have sufficient reputation to acquire the highest level helm glyphs and shoulder inscriptions for your class/spec? Yes, I believe I can acquire helm enchants for any spec. I don't need shoulder enchants with inscription, however, I have multiple other toons that can get it the shoulder enchants.

Other gaming experience: Can't even name them all. I've been gaming since atari 2600.

Previous guilds and reason for leaving: I want to see 25 man content and there are only a few guilds I consider good 25 man raiding guilds on Gilneas.

ALTS: Deadmonkey, Elfmonkey, Huntermonkey, and Trollmonkey are my 80s. I would consider bringing a different character if you have needs other than what I can bring as a druid.

Friends or Family in DHoC:

A quick note: I would prefer to go Feral dps and Boomkin instead of continuing tanking but I am pretty flexible.
